Some of you may recognize me from my many years spent at Coastal
Rivers Pet Hospital. I first joined the team as a high-school
volunteer in 2016, and with the mentorship of the wonderful doctors
here, I chased my dream of becoming a veterinarian.
After high school, I left to study Animal Bioscience at the University
of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon but returned to Abbotsford in the summers
to continue working at Coastal as a veterinary assistant. With the
clinical experience I gained as an assistant, I was accepted at the
Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2020 and I graduated as a
veterinarian in 2024. After practicing for a short while after
graduation in a small town near Saskatoon, a lucky opportunity brought
me back to Coastal—this time as a veterinarian working alongside the
people who helped shape my career in the first place. It was an offer
I could not refuse despite my ever persistent love for the prairies.
I now live in Abbotsford with my partner and our large, mostly-rescued
menagerie: a dog, a cat, two rabbits, a ball python, a leopard gecko,
and a few betta fish. My own pets have fueled a special interest in
exotic animal medicine. As a fellow exotic pet owner, I believe it is
important to provide care to all species - including the unique ones!
Outside of work, I enjoy reading fantasy novels, painting, playing
video games and DND, and hiking with my dog.
I feel lucky to work with such an amazing team and I look forward to
helping your furry, feathered and scaly pets.
