Dr. Alexander Fritz grew up in Coquitlam, B.C., along with his twin brother and 2 older brothers.
Alex spent his undergraduate summers working in a variety of fields including a large animal practice, a biotechnology company, and organizing and planning cardiology research in the human medical field. In 2019, Alex completed his Biochemistry degree, at the university of Victoria where he then continued his work at the Richmond General Hospital in the cardiac rehabilitation program. During this time, he developed a special interest in rehabilitation and oncology and decided to carry over his passion into the veterinary field.
Alex spent his summers during veterinary school in rural mixed animal practices throughout Alberta before completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2024.
Alex has decided to come back to the Fraser Valley, to be closer to family, along with his partner, Natasha, and their sphynx cat Monster. When not at work Alex enjoys hiking, camping, surfing, and skiing.
